This is one of our teenager chicks named Baby. She looks like she has fur and not feathers. We named her after a black and white cat we once had that was named Baby. She is our Mom’s favorite chicken. (Don’t tell our other chickens!)

Introducing DUCK OF THE WEEK! This is our newest duck. It is a running duck. Her name is Piney. Our other ducks are named after flowers, but running ducks are way taller so we named her after a tree. So that’s Piney for ya!

Chicken of the week: No-Tail- as you can see, she has no tail. She was actually born this way. She is the first hen we have had with no tail feathers. What’s also unique about her is that she used to be convinced she was a duck, going into the duck area every night. Anyway, when we first saw her, we just knew we should name her “No Tail”.
