The crew had a great time at GABF this year. Things were different, for sure, but the b**rs were good and so was the company. No medals for us this year, but we’re stoked for all our friends who took home some hardware. Next year will be here before we know it!

Are you at Great American B**r Festival? So are we! Come see us at booth G-30 (Mountain area) and grab a free koozie! Cheers to b**r! 🍻

RIP to da player, da coach, da legend. Diiiiiitka. 🍻😢
We’re celebrating Coach and continuing on with pre-planned activities on Sunday.
1. Still opening at 1030 on Sunday with sound on and food from Mo's BEEF.
2. NEW B**R! Introducing Da B**r, a Light American L***r built for football.
3. NEW SHIRTS! Go Bears. Only 50 of them, so get here early to guarantee yourself one.

Both Da B**r and the new shirts are being released when we open Sunday. We wanted to go big for the first Packer game this year, so join us and cheer Da Bears on to victory.

A special release for GABF week! Introducing A Hop Has No Name, a Hazy Pale Ale featuring experimental hop CH2 from Crosby Hops. This hop is still in its trial and development stage, and we’d love to know what you think! We’re picking up tangerine, watermelon, strawberry, and white grape. Available in the taproom by the pint and in crowlers Togo!
In town for GABF? You can try this b**r, as well as many other experimental hop b**rs, at Odell Brewing Sloan's Lake from 12-3pm today!

It’s almost time to Bear Down! 🐻⬇️
Da Bears are taking on the Jets tomorrow at 11am, and we’ll be opening up at 10:30. As usual, wear Bears gear and your 2nd b**r is free during the game. We’ll have Mo's BEEF here for food with a bangin’ tap list to explore. Come drink da b**rs and watch some football with us!

Earlier this week, Dave and Tyler traveled to Yakima, WA for our annual hop selection with Yakima Chief Hops. The same hop variety can vary quite a bit in terms of its sensory analysis from farm to farm, with soil composition, growing temperature, and rainfall amongst the many things that can affect its characteristics. Selecting our own preferred lots ensures we get the aroma and flavor profiles we’re looking for when designing our hop-forward b**rs, and that consistency and intentionality leads to higher quality. It’s an important job, but we’re glad they were able to have a little bit of fun while they were doing it. 🙃

Back on tap: Two-Touch German Pils! German Pilsner malt, three German hops, and traditional German yeast combine to make a b**r so good it’s only going to touch your lips twice before it’s gone. Combine it with an Underberg and it’s about as German as you can get. Order one up!

The Broncos are hosting the Rams tonight, and we’ll have the game on with sound. Wear Broncos gear and get a BOGO during the game (sorry, not after).
Looking for other NFL matchups? We have the Sunday Ticket so we can find the game you’re looking for, plus we’ll have Red Zone on one of the bar TVs.
Come enjoy this beautiful Sunday afternoon, or cheer on the Broncos tonight. Either way, we hope to see you!

What’s Tyler doin’?!?
It’s a Kölsch filter day here, a common sight in our brewhouse. We believe that Kölsch is best enjoyed very fresh so we want to serve it as quick as we can once the b**r is done fermenting and conditioning. We also believe in serving it beautifully crystal clear. However, our house Kölsch yeast strain does not like to flocculate, meaning it doesn’t want to drop out of solution and it would prefer to keep the whole thing cloudy. Enter the filter. Filtering our Kölsch allows us to serve it only a few days later, as opposed to sometimes waiting weeks for the yeast to drop out on its own. You’ll get your Kölsch while it’s fresh and newspaper clear (meaning you can read the news through it) and it’s one of the many things we do to help make Ice Cutter Kölsch a world class example.
The next time you see someone on our brew team, give them a high 5 and say thanks for their hard work!
