Had kept forgetting to share our newest arrivals to the growing herd. So we’ll do that here. Our most recent being a new young buck so we have two options for our small group of does.

Pluto, our young buck (first picture) he is already acting very bucky so he’ll definitely be ready for breeding season and be used if we go that route.

Pippy, our most recent doe addition. She didn’t take with the breeder for kids this year so we’ll be seeing if it was just a simple mistake and she’ll take next time. Fingers crossed!

Excited to have them in our herd!

We got some new “attempted” set up pictures of our unregistered doe, Martian. Can’t wait to breed her to our new buck and see the kids they produce. We already retained a doe kid from her and will likely retain another from the planned pairing.

Picked up a nice haul of feed for the goats today. We’ve started a new feed regimen, adjusted everyone to alfalfa and picked up some “bland” grain mixture to feed as well. We have a separate mixture for the dairy milkers as well. Hoping this will do good for everyone while costing less since the hay prices are still so high.

Wanted to give a little spotlight to one of our unregistered does. This is Martian, we don’t know much on her history but she’s an amazing milker and a gentle giant. These are the only udder pics we have as we didn’t take too many and she hasn’t been milked in a while. We plan to breeder soon to the new buck we got and will definitely get some udder pics then. Excited for that pairing!

Here are our newest additions! ✨
A beautiful Registered doe and handsome Registered buck. We’ve been needing a new buck for breeding and he’s perfect! We are very excited to have some nice Lamancha lines added to our herd and can’t wait to see what comes for kidding season. Much thanks to Silver Spur Dairy Goats for allowing us to add these beauties to our herd!

Se have some exciting news!
Long story short, Saturday we went to a very nice Reg. Lamacha dairy farm for work and ended up coming back with some surprises! We’ll be taking pictures and posting soon!

***FOUND A HOME***

We still have this handsome guy looking for a new home. He can go intact or wethered. His mama is a heavy milker and his half sister is as well. He is wild but not mean at all. He is horned and decently big already. These are older pictures of him younger but we can provide current ones upon request.
