Curious about how to cook your pastured raised turkey? If you’re new to cooking all natural, pastured raised turkey or need a refresher, see these tips below!

🦃 brine your bird for at least 24 hours

🦃 pasture raised birds cook faster than store ones because they are not injected with water and salt and are leaner, so allow 8-10 minutes cook time per pound or 12-15 if stuffed

🦃 Lower the temp to 325 instead of 350

🦃 Cook to 165 at the breast. If the thighs arent done cut them off and keep cooking (controversial I know!)

And remember you purchased a bird that lived outside and enjoyed sunlight, grass, bugs, an all natural feed, and free-range time! (See pics on our page!)
