Although harvest was wrapped a few weeks ago it’s still been busy around here. We’ve had beautiful weather to make fall strips, finish up cover crops, tile hole repairs/field maintenance and haul a portion of our seed beans to the processing facility.

First week in the books! Grandpa always said “you run break down to break down” boy was he right! Everything from welds to software this week broke. Got a lot done despite the break downs thanks to an awesome crew.

Happy Easter everyone! The good Lord sure has blessed us with nice weather this past week to get some strips freshened and cover crops terminated!

While harvest ended for us a month ago we’ve been busy preparing for next years crop. Lots of strip-tilling, tile hole fixing , and a ditch cleaning project. (Also not pictured was hauling seed beans and more cover crop seeding.)

Last week the crew took a break from the day to day tasks and headed up to Bloomington for 3 days to the National Strip-Till conference. Lots of good info, people and food.
