Our farm will be at the Farmers market at Firemans Park tomorrow 9am to noon. Our new setup location will be located in the kitchen area. The picture below with Kortana shows the kitchen in the background. Stop by and taste some samples of our drinks, fruits spices and herbs. Dad is also taking plants to start your garden.
The first picture was taken December 19 and the other two were taken in January . The picture in the middle shows the growth of the grape cuttings and the 3rd picture shows cuttings that have not sprouted or rooted. I’m gonna give them more time. I sorted them so it is easier to know which must be planted first. I put the ones with roots in clear vases so I can see them. This weekend my daughters will be planting the cuttings. My son in law Jose will be trimming the grape vines that have the variety of grapes for making wine. The cuttings in the pictures are to grow table grapes.
Dad will have dehydrated blood orange, valley lemon and Valencia orange tomorrow at the farmers market at Firemans Park. These are great to snack on or to add to your hot teas or infuse with your water. You can also use to decorate your cakes or add to your soups.

My red amaryllis. Trying to grow indoors. I have had to move around the living room so that it can get more sun light. Transplanted into a larger pot hoping to use as a mother plant because seeds take a long time.I’m adding indoor plants for me to talk too! They are great listeners👩🌾
Starting the new year with beautiful fresh herbs. I think today I will plant seeds of more different varieties in some pots. I think sweet basil, lemon basil, cinnamon basil, purple basil and Genoveses basil. Planting seeds is a great way to spend some time outside and get some vitamin c. I just wait till it warms up a little so I don’t get sick. It is hard to plan my days because I don’t know how I will feel but Praise God I am still alive with great family and friends 👩🌾
Amaryllis is going to bloom soon. Cold weather did not ruin it.
Cuttings from our grape vines are being rooted in water. The water is changed weekly so the cuttings don’t rot. Once they have rooted they are planted in pots. There is a lot of time and work involved in having a vineyard.Very happy to have hard working daughters and their partners. Dad is always on the go helping everyone. Best dad ever! 👩🌾👨🌾

Vicky Boone Casting is casting Mexican American and Mixed Ethnicity men ages 15-21 to play leading roles in an upcoming major SAG feature film directed by Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting, Raya and the Last Dragon). The film will begin shooting in the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio area next April. We’re searching for young men who are outgoing, with a sense of humor, and passionate about music, especially punk rock! Musical experience is a plus!

Dad is dehydrating more oranges. Blood oranges are very popular but we have a limited amount. The blood oranges look like grapefruit and the other oranges look like Valley lemons. I hope you can see how juicy the fruit is and it tastes sweet. We packaged these different because they are wider than our jars these oranges are bigger and from older trees. Dad will have them this Saturday at Fireman’s park 9am to noon.

Dad picked the last of the blood oranges and we are drying them in the dehydrators. Dad says it is a lot of work keeping the birds and opossums from eating the fruit. These will make great snacks and also taste great in teas and infused with fresh water.
Look at all the shades of yellow in the garden. Yellow is the color of happiness and friendship 👩🌾

Our farm will have Minerva amaryllis plants available at the Farmers market at Fireman’s park this Saturday 9am to noon and Tres lagos on Sunday 2-5pm. Dad will have indoor and outdoor plants available. They are a popular Christmas flower which make it a great gift idea. They were grown from seed and the mother bulbs will grow daughter bulbs which is a faster way to grow them. After the flowers bloom they will have a pod that produces hundreds of seeds. The seeds are black and paper thin which allows the seed to fly away easily. Inside is the tiny spec of a seed. The plant can be kept indoors as long as it receives sunlight. You can also grow outdoors due to our tropical climate. Remember only half of the bulb should be covered with soil. Dad will have more varieties of amaryllis available in January.
Visit the Circle 3 Farm & Ranch table this Saturday. It will probably be drizzling but the market is under the covered pavilion. If you have any plastic jugs or bottles that you want to donate please take to our table. Our water barrels are all over flowing and we have filled up all the bottles, jugs and 5 gallon containers we have. We love to recycle and would hate to waste all this beautiful and beneficial rain water. See everyone Saturday I’m attending to buy my holiday items since I wasn’t able to attend last week 👩🌾

Dad will have Moringa flowers, fresh Moringa leaves, dry Moringa leaves,seeds and seedlings this Saturday at the Farmers market at Fireman’s park 9am to noon. Flowers can be eaten sautéed, leaves fresh in salads, leaves in soup, dry leaves in teas, powdered Moringa in smoothies or seeds can be taken daily. 👩🌾👨🌾

My daughters are using this method to plant a new section of Dragonfruit. It is easier to harvest the fruit by growing the plants and trimming them to this height . We will also keep some pots growing on top of trees just incase we get a bad storm and we get flooding. The plant grows across the branches and is safe from flooding after a storm. The tree also protects it during extreme weather hot or cold.
I will try to propagate these succulents. Horticulture therapy.

So today was an eventful day as I was surprised inside the house by a huge rat snake. It decided to use its tail to hit the air conditioner and mimic a rattle snake. Sadly in the process of getting ride of the snake I broke my moms little fridge lol😬. It will get fixed and she will never know 😳. As an update on our family my mother is stable but still in critical condition slowly improving. My grandparents sadly took a turn in the wrong direction and are not doing well. We ask that everyone please continue to pray for them. We are very blessed for those who have been reaching out to us and praying🙏🏻💕.
