It’s incredible how long ago it feels like. But it’s only been a little over 10 years that I received a call from my father, asking me to come work for him. The idea was to clean out poultry houses, to provide cash flow between cattle sales. We started with 2 tractors and two workers dedicated only for clean outs. We are up to 9 tractors and 8 full time workers. This business is tough, and there are days(weeks sometimes) where I want to just run away. But we continue to grow, sometimes unintentionally. Blessings are real. 🙌🏼 Thanks to everyone who calls us, and thank you to the workers who make this possible.

We have been working on a new farm. The dirt floors had not seen light since shavings were put into the house. It’s taken us a couple of flocks of removing 150 tons of litter per house, and multiple passes with our LVI windrow machine. But we finally are getting up the hardpan.

It’s almost time to start putting out some more litter. Trucks are ready to roll.
