Community grows when you share real stories and take care of your own backyard. We’ve been blessed with incredible growth this year, in our community and our business, and God put it on our hearts to pay it forward.
The real stories are always the hardest to tell. But that honesty and vulnerability is exactly what we feel called to grow in this world.
A few weeks ago, one of our owners, Doc Reed, and his wife Terri came to us ready to share theirs. Every time we’ve acted on what’s been put on our hearts this year, the fruit has been blessed, and we have no reason to believe this time will be any different.
“My wife Terri is a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in 2007 at just 34, and that disease shaped who we are today. When we heard how SOS Lowcountry meets patients where they are and makes sure the normal daily stuff doesn’t overwhelm them during treatment, we knew this was the right partner. We’re on Edisto Island, and we wanted to keep it local.”

This October, Marsh Hen Mill is partnering with SOS Lowcountry to support breast cancer patients right here in the Lowcountry. Our Unicorn Corn grows naturally pink, so this month we’re putting it to work.
