Life is keeping us busy, we've decided for now it would be best to let our whole herd go. We've got 4 rams, 2 of which are registered. We also have 10 ewes, 6 registered. Descriptions in pictures, only missing a picture of 1 unregistered white ram, born 2/25/21 twin. Pm us for details!

Good day at the farm!! Perfect weather! And we had another Bambi looking calf born! 😍😍 Fed cows, checked alfalfa, pet a calf, and walked around. Thank you Lord for this day and for healthy babies! 🙌🏼🥰

I can't get over how cute and great this little guy is turning out! Accidental Romanov and babydoll cross! His wool is amazing and I'm really happy we're keeping him! 😍 One other one born so far...should have many others up for grabs!

In case you've ever wondered what a Romanov crossed with a babydoll look like...we think he's pretty cute!! Born 2/5. He's been supplemented with formula so he's super friendly! Loves his little chin scratched! 🥰 He has soft wool like a Romamov but it has more krimp like a babydoll! 😍

Poor critters. And hard working hubby!! He spent countless hours outside the past several days, especially yesterday making sure they were cared for! From making a fire around the water spicket in order to thaw it so he could get water to the cows, winterized our barn, came in looking sun burnt from the cold wind, and many other things. He sure does work hard!! The critters and I are grateful for you! 😊

I didn't get the best pictures but we got a baby lamb today!! 🥰🥰🥰 Momma is letting it nurse with assistance and did finally start cleaning him and grunting at him so he'll know her noises and be able to find her if they get separated. Hoping mom fully accepts him and turns into a good momma but we helped take care of him this morning. Glad I had my little helper here today! 🥰

This girl needs a name...she was made as a gift for a very special couple (the couple that we got our cows from and have learned oh so much from! Wealth of knowledge and goodness they are! A blessing to our family!) so she's no longer mine but I'd still like to name her since we spent countless hours together...any suggestions? Well... Gonna try my hand at egg preservation so we'll have fresh eggs through the winter! Thank you chickens and YouTube!!
Few helpful things I learned if anyone else is interested in doing the same; water glassing and mineral oil should have about the same shelf life (8-12ish months, although some say as long as 2 years- long enough to get you to the next lasting season) , place pointy side down (that way the air bubble that naturally is in eggs has less contact with shell and is less likely to grow), don't use store bought eggs (😳🤣), and God made chickens to only lay part of the year - I find it best to let them have the break and obey God's design then add lights and make them lay year round (shortens their life span 😔). Hope this works!! 😁🙏
*Edit: learned lesson...eggs do get very slippery when oiled. Luckily I only cracked one and broke one. Lol! Caution... Handel with care!

These guys are ready for their new homes! They're sweet and have been indoors since they were 2 weeks old. Fully weaned and doing great!! 😅 Pm me if interested!! I have 8 total (my daughter is keeping 2). Mom was part lion head and dad is a cross between a new Zeeland white and a California. 4 girls and 3 boys.

Had a productive farm weekend!! Got 63 square bales of alfalfa moved into our barn (sheep were excited about "helping" to unload it)! She got the cows an upgraded water trough that the kids were excited to "help" full up!

Moooo!! Because I haven't posted about our cows in a while and they're cute. They really like their Cuuuubes (that's our cow call. 🤣) so much so that they'll let me pet them! One almost ate some from Aaron's hand. And check out the neck on the red Angus bull!!! 😳🤯🐮🐂🐮

Got our first harvest yesterday!! About 21.4 pounds of yellow crocked neck squash to be exact. We'll be eating a lot of squash and learning how to can it /preserve them (update to come on how that goes)! If you have any squash receipts or tips on preserving please share... I'll have to get creative with this much squash!! 😂😋

Since I've been selling eggs I always sell the big ones and keep the small ones for our household...lately most have been big so I finally got to cook with them! 🤯 They're soo big I only needed 4 eggs VS the normal 6-7. It felt really good cracking them open and having that much egg from just one! Thank you God and thank you chickens! Lol! 🥚🍳🥚

Update on our garden. It's very green, and a little yellow! We're also growing a good amount of grass but everything seems to be doing well!!
These little guys are going to be the sweetest little bunnies ever!! Well, they kind of already are!! 10 total...should be weaned in about 2 weeks. Sadly we lost mom so they've been "bottle fed" since they were about 2 weeks old. They love to snuggle! Pm if interested!

We learned how to drive a tractor the other day!! Aaron and I both successfully moved a round bale and Silas thought it was just the coolest thing. He doesn't look super happy in the pictures, pretty sure that's just his focused face. He knew we were on a mission. Lol! He cried when we were all done and wanted back in! 🤣☹️ Little farmer Joe!

We have 15 month old twin Nabssar Registered southdown babydoll rams available for new homes. They are both very gentle. They have been drenched, vaccinated and sheared. We just need to change up our genetics. We can discuss delivery if needed. Located near Oklahoma City.

This is the biggest egg I've ever seen!! It was hard to capture just how big in pictures but man...good job chicken! Can't wait to open this guy, maybe it'll be a double yolk one...also want to keep it somehow though. Lol! I'm just impressed!
