80 years ago. Evelyn Frasier married Kenneth Blaisdell of New Hampshire at Moline, IL, on Nov 24, 1945. Maid of Honor for her sister was Ruth Genevieve "Gene" Frasier Emerich. Best man, my father's brother Fred, came down from Minneapolis. The ladies were daughters of Cleveland and Lou Veda (Moran) Frasier. Cleveland Frasier was the son of Thomas and Letitia (Walkup) Frasier.

Today I was addressed negatively because I posted an obit of a cousin in 2020 on this page. I verbally reacted in an equally negative light so removed and deleted comments from the post. I just want to remind everyone that this is about the Hicks/Walkup and related families.
Russell Estes did a lot of work to bring folks together and I feel like I disappointed him a bit tonight by responding to my sister on here this evening. I want everyone to know how much it means to me that we keep this a family page and honor the path Russell started.

The Hicks/Walkup Family Farm Story

Our family farm is located on the East Fork of the Little Barren River near Edmonton, Metcalfe County, Kentucky. Elaine McNally is one of our most illustrious descendants.

Elaine’s story of how she discovered the family farm is fascinating and her contributions are priceless. Many others have found their roots in various ways and we have discovered over one thousand descendants who trace their ancestry to the purchase of the farm in 1846.
