I want to thank everyone that came out to help support our little farm by stopping by the inaugural first Fresh Coast fiber festival. It couldn't have had better weather for such a wonderful event. Again "Thank you"

But now back to it on the farm.......mow the grass, trim the overgrown brush, trim trees, clean the house, clean the barn, 3 loads of laundry done, picked up some supplies for my upcoming wool project, burn brush/limbs trimmed from trees, work on flower beds and get the first till of the vegetable garden done. Back to work starting tomorrow for the next 4 days. So we will see what else I can get done after work those days (12 hours a day every day). We finished today with our first relaxing bonefire of the season and cooked brats on the fire for supper. Yummy!!!

Got some garden work done. Got apple trees trimmed up, blueberry bushes trimmed, blackberry bushes cleaned up & trimmed, and found my raspberry patch by de-grassing it. Also got my rose bushes trimmed, and butterfly bush cut back. Tomorrow hopefully more flowerbeds will be cleaned, and hopefully the vegetable garden will get its first till. Whewww.....now for supper (hamburgers on grill).

Spent the day at Chickasaw Farms, home of Dances With Wool at their Farm Day. Thank you pat and shelia Henry for hosting. Beautiful weather (sun was shining, i ended up getting a little pinkish), great friends, good food, free & reduced fiber shopping.......what a wonderful day.
