The ladies just doing their normal thing and loving every minute. We should all take a lesson from the ladies: enjoy the simple things life has to offer, such as the ability to just be outside and breathe in the fresh air!

A few egg-related questions I’ve gotten in the last few days! (Posting with the askers’ permissions). 🥚🥚

1.) “Why not raise your prices? Someone very near to you sells them for $5. You could even do $6 if you wanted.”
This question has actually been posed a few times since we opened the stand. We are aware there is another stand down the road that has their eggs at $5. Every roadside stand has the liberty to set their own prices based on their goals. We do not consider profiting off eggs a goal of ours. We bought our hens to enjoy, to love, and to provide US eggs. If we break even on their care with selling the extra eggs, we’re happy. $4 allows us to do just that. We sell out very quickly at this price also, so we never have to worry about eggs sitting unsold!

2.) “Your eggs are always gone when I get to the stand. I can’t make it there in the morning due to work. Could I get some outside of your stand hours?”
Yes, absolutely! In fact, preordering eggs is the best way to ensure you get them for sure. The ones at the stand are always FCFS, but if you message us, we can put however many dozen you want in a bag with your name on it in the “order pickup” tote whenever you want to pick them up. I work from home, so there are no pickup time restrictions.

3.) “Do you do duck eggs also?”
No. I’d love ducks, and maybe one day, but for now, no. Visit Heaven’s Half Acre on Elkhart Rd for the best duck eggs 🙂
