We had a fun time at the Spring Fling Beer Fest! A seemingly random beer was chosen by the judges from each team, and Batman Gose To Margaritaville ended up tied for 2nd place in the judges scoring. Its funny because it was not a beer I intended to have judged (it was a special release one hour into the event, and I only brought 4 bottles of it).

Tomorrow, Saturday 4/4/26 is Spring Fling Beer Fest! It's from 6-9 PM at the KC City Market. Tickets are $35 and the money goes to support a good cause. There will be a lot of good beer to sample from homebrewers all across the city.

I'll be pouring two beers. A longtime favorite and something new and unique. I'm not sure I've ever been this excited to debut a new beer....The Secret of the Ooze!
