So this happened this morning. It's pitch dark out and I go to open the chicken pen. I start my car so I have light I open the door and turn around to go back and head to work. And there on top of the Land Rover. A chicken. Somehow I missed it during my night time check

We have done sad news on the farm this week. I didn't latch the front door Tuesday morning after I walked doggies in the morning, the run of the property all day for like 11 hours. Gladly they didn't run into the road and get killed but someone got one of our chooks. Left it for me on the living room floor.

I haven't finished bringing everyone up to date, but I will post as I have time. So today we rustled up the 3 guineas what an ordeal that was, and turned them loose in the yard. They weren't so happy. They are circling the wagons outside the chicken pen. They'll figure it out. We need them to eat the ticks. More coming.
