The first glimpse of the dress always undoes me. Completely. It takes a few minutes to gather myself and get back to work. I mean, look! ✨

As someone who spends most of my days in Carhartts, there is nothing quite like getting a front row seat to this level of beauty and elegance and sophistication. The pressure for the flowers to live up to this work of art? Oy.

Then the photo gallery from sends me there again. Grateful beyond belief to witness the ways it all comes together, weekend after weekend, with so many talented hardworking folks, to bring these long-planned days to life. It’s alchemy!

It’s taken me weeks to recover from this transcendently beautiful day. We got to design florals for the wedding and attend it! Our badass Renaissance QUEEN Isabel (who works with Randall and with me at the farm 🔥) married her best friend Benny. Just down the road . Surrounded by the most extraordinary, creative, joyful family and community I’ve seen in years. Ten years in the making, this celebration was everything.

Yes, Isabel stitched the embroidery on her wedding dress; yes, she and Benny designed and built their own rebar chuppah structure; yes, the guests spent the afternoon making the candles for the tables and arranging flowers in the bud vases, and designing the fabric quilt squares to make the chuppah fabric… YES to everything about these two! And to for these sneak peeks! 🔥🔥🔥 Three cheers (and more) for a Crafternoon building up to the nuptial ceremony!

One of my favorite things? Those quiet moments on your wedding day (there really might be some if you plan right) when we get to geek out about flowers, the ones we’ve been talking about for months or even a year. Naming each of the varieties in your bouquet. Then we’ll go 2.0 on the flower arch we’re building for you. Help you straighten the flower comb in your hair. Hand out bridesmaids’ bouquets. Give you a hug and send you down the aisle. I absolutely love being part of your big day.

And this is why I intentionally keep this business small. So that it’s me showing up on your big day, and not a crew that I send in my place. Thank you for choosing me, Michele! I loved our design collaboration! ♥️✨♥️

This fall has knocked my socks off! 💥 In all the good ways. So many sunny bright gorgeous weekend days with truly inspiring clients who gave me creative free rein and trusted me to manifest what we’d dreamed up together. I feel very lucky.

Behind me are the days when I’d do gymnastics to try to fit into a mold that just wasn’t me. Saying yes to jobs that weren’t a good fit, or designs that required tons of floral foam or a style I didn’t love. Thank you, 2025! One more wedding to go next weekend and then we can rest! ✨
