Wyatt is truly exceptional. He bred to jump at the highest level with both sides of his pedigree having elite and international success in the jumper ring. He is the first US born and bred foal by Utamaro d'Ecaussines Z.
His sire Utamaro is a son of the great Diamant de Semilly, one of the greatest Show Jumping sires of all time. Utamaro was winner of the Nations Cups of Rotterdam , La Baule and the Grand Prix of Lummen in Belgium. Utamaro won the World Cup at the London Olympics and took part in the World Equestrian Games in Tryon. The stallion traveled the world to win prizes in Mexico, Estoril, Aachen and became 2nd in the Nations Cup of La Baule! He competed for Team Great Britain at the Jumping International de La Baule, helping secure a brilliant victory in the official 2015 FEI Nations Cup
Wyatt’s dam Hirette KR competed to the FEI 1.35m prior to import and into the 1.45m in the states. She was 2019 reserve Horse Of The Year for the 7 yr old jumpers in Zone 3, 2020 4th place HOTY for the Medium Amateur Jumpers for Zone 3, and 2021 Champion High Amateur Jumper for Zone 3. She's took her amateur rider from the 1.20m to the 1.45m high amateurs and regional standard Grand Prix! Hirette’s pedigree is as impressive as her show record. She is by Corland who was highly placed in Grand Prix and World Cup competitions, and a top competitor at the 2001 European Championships. Her damsire is Heartbreaker, one of the most influential elite show jumping sires in modern equestrian breeding .
Wyatt has a powerful lofty trot, and a comfy looking long strided canter. He is quick and agile in the field where he loves to jump in and out of the shed. In fact he has on more than one occasion jumped out of our 3 board fencing, I'm not kidding! If he happens to scratch a top rail down, he thinks nothing of jumping out to the other side. Even with the top rail down it's still about 3’ high, so I think he's pretty natural about jumping. He has been handled extensively and is extremely friendly and sensible.
