Kaenzig Tree Farm Family and Veteran owned Christmas Tree Farm At age twelve, Wally’s grandson Stephen Vernon began learning the Christmas Tree trade from his grandfather.

In 1947 Wally Kaenzig and his wife Dorothy moved to a farm on Cologne Avenue that had initially been purchased in 1860 by Wally’s grandparents. In the early 1950’s, their young daughters Karen and Kim decided to plant Christmas trees as part of their Girl Scout project on the farm. By 1960 Kaenzig Christmas Tree farm was an established business on Cologne Ave selling trees and poinsettias to custo

mers from Black Friday to Christmas Eve. Today Stephen Vernon is the proprietor of Kaenzig Christmas Tree Farm which has proudly been a family operation for over 50 years. Stephen and his wife Amy Vernon look forward to sharing this holiday tradition with you.

FINAL RACE DAY REMINDERS! 🏃‍♀️

The wait is almost over! We are so excited to see everyone tomorrow morning at Historic Smithville for the inaugural Valor Run 5K & 1 Mile Walk.
To make sure your morning is as smooth as possible, here is everything you need to know:

📍 Where to Park
Primary Parking: Please utilize the secondary parking lot located across the street from Historic Smithville off of Moss Mill Road
Pro Tip: Follow the directions of our Police Cadets and officers on-site to ensure a quick and safe arrival.

⏱️ When to Arrive
Check-in Opens: 8:00 AM
Opening Ceremony: 9:00 AM
Race Start: 9:15 AM sharp!
We recommend arriving no later than 8:15 AM to give yourself plenty of time to park.

📝 Where to Check In
Look for the Galloway Police Foundation Registration Tent located to the right of Fred and Ethel’s Tavern (3 N New York Rd).
Pre-Registered: Head to the "Pre-Registered" line to grab your bib and swag.
Walk-ups: Day-of registration will be available at the registration tent.
Reminder: Please be patient with our volunteers who will be working efficiently to get everyone checked in on time

Weather Update: The forecast looks great for a run! Get ready for a fantastic day supporting our first responders and veterans.

We are open for tree pick up starting
Black Friday, and open all Saturdays and Sundays until December 14th, 9am-5pm.
(Please take note, we will not be open all Fridays, Black Friday only.)

🌲We have beautiful wreaths, grave blankets, and garland all made fresh on our farm!

🌲 Fraser fir pre-cut Christmas trees will be available as well.
