Getting ready for market days. I harvested some honey frames from one of the hives that didn’t seem to make it. But plans to build up the apiary are coming. I ordered more honeybees. Golden goodness from nectar. It’s absolutely amazing what and how things can be created from flowers. I’m busy as a bee and looking forward to being in the gardens and tending to more honeybee hives. Following your calling and dreams is the pathway to happiness. Being original and true to yourself is another pathway I will always follow.

Finding one of my signs I used at the market gives me focus on the upcoming season. Unfortunately I won’t be able to use this one, so I’ll just make another. And signs of spring are here! Crocuses blooming and the snapdragons I planted last year survived the winter. I plan on attending the Mountain Fresh Farmers Markets, Oakland, Maryland this coming Saturday. Lots of tasks at hand and I’m trying my best to find joy right now and taking leaps of faith for a better future.

Some more things that I found. The flags were a present from Laah from SpringLickFarms. Little messages in what’s left. I’m going to go through the seed catalogs and order more heirloom seeds, try to find happiness, and look out for wildflowers. Coltsfoot is always an early bloomer. One of the few plants that flowers come before leaves.

Before this blizzard, I’ve been trying to sort through the ashes so to speak. There is quite a bit of things that are salvageable and when I found these items, I took it as an another sign to focus on better times. Growing flowers gives me a lot of joy and joy is what I need after this. That vase was always center stage in the bouquets. And a reminder to bee thankful. I’m thankful for my son and this community! Counting blessings everyday and counting the days until spring! Lots of planning and big things to come!

It brings me some sense of joy to decide what to grow this year. I’m putting more focus on that. One of the hives is still buzzing inside and I have lots of honey in the other hives that don’t seem to have made it. There is light at the end of the tunnel and I have faith that something beautiful will bloom. I won’t be at the market tomorrow, but I do plan attending the markets next month. I’m only going to make a few of the body care products. It’s starting from ground zero, so it will be limited quantities and not all of the offerings yet. Slow and steady.

Thank you for everyone's donations and support. I love this community. I'm so grateful. I've been pretty much unplugged through this. But I'm getting stronger each day. I have to for my son. I know part of the healing process is when my hands are in the soil. I'm trying to keep focused on a million things and when I think about the flowers and vegetables, it gives me joy. The business will be starting from ground zero. Slow and steady then giant leaps. There's big plans coming and I'll keep everyone updated as it unfolds.
