Every morning, they make their rounds. Same route. Same serious faces. No days off.

While everyone fawns over the pigs and goats, our guardian dogs are quietly doing the most important job on the farm. They watch over the flock. They patrol the fields. They make sure every animal here stays safe.

They're not pets. They're working dogs. And they take that very seriously.

(They're also a little majestic and we're kind of obsessed with them.)

What breed do you think they are? Drop your guess below.

The dahlias are coming.

They're not here yet — but they're close. The plants are up, the buds are forming, and if you know what to look for, you can already tell it's going to be a good year.

Dahlias bloom from July through September. That means weeks of color. Hundreds of varieties. Every one a little different from the last.

We'll let you know when they're ready. Worth the follow.

The coffee is on and the goats are up.

The Roaming Bean is parked and pouring this morning. No ticket needed - just come on out, grab a cup, and enjoy the field. The flowers are open and the morning is easy.

While you are here, the farm stand is open too. Honey, eggs, and soap, all made right here.

We are here all morning. Come find us.

Every farm has a boss. Ours has horns and zero patience for waiting.

Our goats run the place, or at least they think they do. They are curious, pushy in the best way, and convinced that every person who visits came just for them. Sometimes that is true.

They are also the stars of goat yoga and goat coffee, which is back this Saturday morning if you want to meet them in person along with a cup of coffee from The Roaming Bean.

Come say hi. They will find you either way.

Some places just make a day feel special. This is one of them.

People keep asking if they can host their own gathering out here - a shower, a small celebration, a get-together with the people who matter. The answer is yes. The farm makes a beautiful backdrop, with open fields and flowers all around.

If you have something coming up and want a setting people will remember, let's talk about it.

Message us to ask about hosting your event at the farm.

The farm glows a little differently in June.

Firefly Festival is Friday, June 26 - and it's one night only.

Gates open at 6:00 PM. Live music, food vendors, and a s'mores station run all evening. At 8:15, Christie walks you through the science of the firefly. Peak viewing starts at 9:00 PM.

This is a real experience - not a manufactured one. Just a field full of fireflies on a summer night at a working farm.

Tickets are limited. Advance purchase encouraged.

Adult (13+): $15 | Child (3-12): $5 | Under 2: Free
Family Pack: $50 (2 adults, 2 kids + large s'mores kit) | Free parking

A few things to know: no dogs, no white lights in the field. Bring a blanket, chairs, and bug repellent lotion (not spray - sprays harm the fireflies). Red flashlight kits are available at check-in for $4.

Rain date is July 11.

The peonies are saying their goodbyes, and the dahlias are just getting started.

That is how it goes out here. One bloom finishes and the next one steps up. Our dahlias keep going all the way to frost, so the field stays full of color through the summer.

There is always something opening at the farm. That is kind of the whole idea.
