Carter County FFA

The carter county fair board will be hosting our setup day tomorrow, August 1st. Local 4-H we'll be setting up inside the building and also cleaning up the fairgrounds. We also are looking for a crew that would be willing to help reroof the beef Barn, materials should be here tonight. We would like to get started around 8 am. Please keep in mind.This will be a temporary fix to get us through the fair. Many hands make light work.Hope to see you there.

Carter county ffa will be cleaning road ditches tomorrow. Students should dress appropriate for weather.But unless the ground is white, we are going to pick up trash

We're so blessed,to have such great moisture, I had an inch and a half in my wagon. But with almost five inches reported in other parts of the county, carter county ffa has decided to move their banquet to tomorrow, and I was way too early six p m at thae high school hoped to see you there.

Congratulations to this young man, he ran his race, lead his parliamentary procedure to state, competed in livestock, and received his Montana State FFA degree.

Teams for state, Time to practice.

Today Carter County FFA qualify 2 more teams for state convention both led by a Laughery. Corlan was 11th in food science Nicole 14th, Clay 16th, Vera 22nd. For a 5th place team. Corrik was 7th in mechanics followed by Kasyn 10th, Clay 13th Kinch 16th. Also 5th place team. State convetion is coming up April 1st-5th, plenty of time to get in a few more practices.

Today we qualify two more FFA teams for state. We have place in the top 50% of our district in an contest to go to state. Meats and vet science made it to state. Had great placing in floraculture from students that is was their first type in the contest. Mechanics did great and got practice for our up coming district contest. We are so proud of these students.
