🍅 TOMATO FANS, WHERE ARE YOU?! 🍅

How are we almost in October and my garden is STILL giving me tomatoes?! 😂🌿🍅 I’m not complaining… but now I need to know what we should make with this harvest!

We have tomatoes coming in, fresh herbs, and plenty of garden goodness — so let’s turn this into something delicious. 👩🏻‍🍳

Should we make:

🍅 Makaronia me kima?
🍅 Homemade tomato sauce?
🍅 Slow-roasted tomatoes?
🍅 A giant Greek horiatiki?
🍅 Tomato fritters?

One life, just one. 🍅🍆🥒🌿🌿

Sunday is a day for me to relax in the garden and see what's blooming! I can't believe our tomatoes are so late this season, but I'm really grateful for them. We have almost 70 peaches that came in, but our grapes didn't make it for the first time this year. ❌ I'm not sure why, but hopefully we can figure it out and fix it for next year.

Our melons are coming in, and the herbs are still growing like crazy! Fennel is one of my favorite herbs, and marathopites are coming soon! 🤍💙

If you don't grow your own food yet, I hope you give it a try! There's something so beautiful about watching a tiny seed grow into something you can nourish yourself with. 🌱

It's a beautiful process — and one that reminds me to slow down, appreciate what we have, and enjoy the little things. 🍅🌿🤍💙

Enjoy life guys because we only have one to live. 🙏 Tomorrow I'm joining a friend of mine on her podcast and stay tuned in for that to come! 💙🇬🇷

Where to go & visit when you’re in MANI, GREECE! 🇬🇷💙🤍

Honestly… I couldn’t even fit HALF of my recommendations into this video 😂 Soooo I think a full blog post is coming!

Did you know the Maniates were the last pagans of Greece? 🔥

And for all my Greek mythology lovers… you’re going to LOVE Mani. ⚡🌩️

There are SO many incredible places connected to ancient history, mythology, gods, goddesses, and legends.

📍 Hades’ Underground
📍 Achilleion Palace
📍 Temple of Poseidon
📍 Oracle of the Dead
📍 Tainaron / Cape Tainaron
📍 Kranai

But here are some of MY top places to visit in Mani: 👇

🌊 LIMENI
A gorgeous little seaside village with beautiful waters and coves. There are so many spots to swim, and you might even spot the turtles! 🐢

I LOVE walking around Limeni, grabbing a coffee or ice cream, and just taking in the beauty.

🏘️ GYTHEIO
Of course, you can’t visit Mani without seeing Gytheio!

It’s one of the largest towns in the area and the first major town you’ll come across when entering Mani.

My family has shops here, so Gytheio holds a special place in my heart. ❤️

Walk or bike around the port, watch the boats come in, grab a Freddo Espresso ☕️ and some lalagia, and don’t forget to pick up some pasteli, hilopites, and Mani salt! 🧂

🏰 VATHIA
One of my MOST beloved villages in Mani. ❤️

I swear I feel like I’m Pantelidis in the music video “Tis Kardias Mou to Grammeno” when I’m standing here! 😂

And yes… the music video was actually filmed in Vathia!

The views from the top are incredible. It feels like you’ve stepped straight back in time. Dating back to the 16th century!

🌊 GEROLIMENAS
You HAVE to see this seaside village! Beautiful waterfront restaurants, gorgeous views!

AREOPOLI : Walk through the historic streets, admire the stone buildings. Have a coffee or perhaps local eats!

🛶 CAVES OF DIROS
A MUST!

I’ve been trying to upload my old 2016 photos from the caves for this video… but my laptop is ancient and decided NOPE. 😂

The Caves of Diros are an incredible part of Mani’s history, with evidence of human presence dating back to the Neolithic period. Don't forget the boat tour!!
