Chef Dan has been cooking professionally for 15 years and working in the sierra foothills for the past 9 years. Chef Dan uses the best ingredients he can get his hands on and makes everything from scratch the day of your event. He puts the utmost care into preparing and serving beautifully designed dishes that everyone can enjoy. We also specialize in food and wine pairings. We can plan a multi course tasting menu to showcase your wines, provide bite size appetizers that add elegance to your tasting room event, or simply offer wine suggestions. Soup, soup, and more soup. One day of rain and all I can think about is soup! I harvested all the last of my summer garden, so in addition to roasting off all my chilies for storage, we made soup - and lots of it! Tomato soup, potato & bacon soup, and pumpkin soup - Yummmmm

One mistake a lot of people make is buying fruits & veggies out of season. Just because it is on sale at Safeway doesn't mean it is in season. Fruits will taste their best and be the most ripe and flavorful when harvested at the peak of their season.
