Anchored Farms

Anchored Farms 39 Acre Family farm. Our story is simple, but with a lot of details. We have four generations in our home. Navy on 31 May 2016. Enjoy and have a Blessed Day!

We currently have ducks, chickens, and five Royal Palm turkeys. 2025 is the second year we bought Boer goats in the Spring for Fall processing, and 2025 is the first time we’ve bought Spring lambs for late Fall processing or resale. Karen Stark is the first generation and travels to various locations visiting her children and grandchildren. Ross & Charlene Duncan are next and have four children, t

hree of which relocated with them when Ross retired from the U.S. Their children include; Alisa, Darci, Thomas (TJ), and Jacob. Alisa is married to Chris Beach and they are currently expecting their fourth child. As primary co-owners of the farm, Chris and Alisa are actively engaged with the decisions made with regard to the farm. Their children include; Josiah, Duncan, and Ona and their second baby girl is expected to be born in November 2017. Tragedy struck in May 2016 as well, when Duncan, at age 2yrs 9 months, suffered a severe head injury and returned to his Heavenly Father on 2 May 2016. We are all grateful for our faith and understanding of "Eternal" families. TJ is the only family member who did not make it out to Missouri. He is enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and is fulfilling his obligations overseas. We are excited that he will return stateside later this fall. Our motto for the farm is, "Raising family and food, while staying Anchored with Faith in Jesus Christ", hence the name of the farm "Anchored Farms". All of us hope you enjoy the stories and experiences shared on this page and since we are a business, we will post the items we have for sale on a regular basis.

Went out to do chores earlier this evening, and two of our Boer does had given birth.
One, a set of triplets, and the other a set of twins.

We did this thing today. Purchased a small herd of Boer and Boer/Spanish cross goats. One buck, 10 does, and nine babies. The youngest set of twins, born earlier this week, got to ride home in the cab of the truck.

I love watching Bald Eagles. I love what they represent, being that I served 24 years in the U.S. Navy. Well, looks like Uncle Sam’s mascot just collected some farm tax.
