I'm down in Panama City Beach for Jeep Jam and I wish I had found this little gem while I was down here working. If you like home cooked southern food you need to go see the folks at Big Mama's Country Cooking. You can sit inside or outside and they are pet friendly.

I know it's been a while but here's some great food from a little gem off the beaten path. The place is called "Kenny D's". It's just a short drive from Destin. My wife had the surf & Turf and I had the surf & surf both were really good.

Headed home from work Friday I didn't know about this little place in Monroe, La Waterfront Grill. They are also pet friendly. Those pork chops were awesome to me grilled to perfection.

I hit up "The Shack" while I was here in Fort Walton Beach, Florida man let me tell this crab dip was awesome and the crab was cooked perfect also.

Hey if you looking for something good that's local in Fort Walton beach, Florida you gotta check out Maui Bus Stop. Great food reasonable prices and has never disappointed. It really does taste like the food on the islands of Hawaii.

So if your out at Pier Park you need to stop in at the Angry Tuna. I got the Grouper Julie which was covered in a crawfish sauce.

So if your headed south to the beach this summer and headed down 49 between Jackson and Hattiesburg, MS this is one of my favorite restaurants to stop at. K-love is always on with a great atmosphere and great service. Jose's Restaurant & Grill.
