Boomtown Organic Farm was founded in 2014 by Liz Young. It is currently in operation on leased land in Louann, Arkansas, a couple miles across the Union County line. We got a late start this spring with the rain and are producing mostly vegetables and a few flowers this summer. The land has not been grown on in three years, and is currently being grown on following USDA National Organic Program st

andards. The fall plot will be eligible for certification. I have yet to spray - organic or synthetic - and am focusing on integrated pest management and natural soil building methods. We are excited to be back home in Southern Arkansas with some real deal heat, hopefully some milder winters, and a bunch of great folks!
