Quon Yick Noodle

Quon Yick Noodle This is a page for the appreciation of Quon Yick Noodles! Feel free to share your favorite pictures and recipes of your favorite Chinese noodles! In 1956, Mr.

Shew San Leong founded the Quon Yick Noodle Co. making fresh noodle in a 750 square foot store front at 859 W. Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, Ca. Six years after the start-up, Quon Yick started making Dry Noodles. After ten years, he built a 2,100 square foot factory in Chinatown. By this time Quon Yick Noodle had established itself as a maker of quality noodles. The Quon Yick Noodle brand products

are known for freshness, consistent quality, and of course the best taste, with the core product of various shapes and sizes of dry noodles. Product and quality development are an ongoing practice. Quon Yick Noodle products can be found in most Los Angeles area Asian food markets and Asian restaurant food suppliers or fresh direct from the factory. Our noodle is recognized nationwide and can be found in various places around the U.S., as far East as Washington D.C. and as far North as Alaska!

Now more than ever, it's important to take care of ourselves and our loved ones. It's always a good idea to stock up on canned and dried goods in cases of emergency, and let's also help others who may have more trouble getting the food and amenities that they need as well. There's a lot we can do to help each other! We can do this!!! πŸ’•

Growing up, our parents had raised us to be independent, and encouraged us to cook for ourselves. So of course, in our household, cooking Quon Yick noodles was one of the first things we learned to make.

It was simple:
Boil water
Boil noodles
Add canned soup
Done.

Optional:
Add frozen vegetables.

It's not the most gourmet dish, but to this day I still get excited when I see a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup in my pantry πŸ˜„
