Hey Boardroom family,

June is here — and it's a big one. The World's In Our Backyard kicks off tomorrow with the FIFA World Cup, two new beer releases drop alongside it, a third is coming next week, and our run club is officially up and running. Here's are a few exciting things happening at the taproom this month:

⚽ THE WORLD CUP STARTS TOMORROW

The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off Thursday, June 11. We're opening early — doors at 11/11:30 AM — and Tatsu Grill will be on-site early and serving all day (in fact, all World Cup game days we will be opening early when there are games (except Mondays).

Key matches starting tomorrow you can catch with us:

Thursday 6/11:
• Mexico vs. South Africa — 12 PM Pacific (the opener)
• South Korea vs. Czechia — 7 PM Pacific

Friday 6/12:
• Canada vs. Bosnia/Herzegovina — 12 PM Pacific
• USA vs. South Africa — 6 PM Pacific (first one at SOFI Stadium) (also being shown at Rec Park so come by and pick up some crowlers, or a bottle of wine!)

With SoFi Stadium just 4 miles from our front door, we're your spot for World Cup viewing throughout the tournament. Big screens, cold beer, and a great place to be for this big event!

🏆 LIMITED-EDITION TROPHY PINT GLASSES

We had these made for the tournament and they came out beautifully. Only 5 released per day, limit one per person. Once they're gone for the day, that's it — come back tomorrow. A real collector's piece for World Cup 2026 in our backyard.

🍺 TWO NEW BEERS DROPPING TOMORROW

Releasing alongside the opening match:

• High Tariff IPA — our new West Coast IPA, built around a four-hop international dry hop bill. Bold, bright, and built for the occasion.

• Our reloaded Pilsner — a German-style pilsner brewed with a new malt that makes it distinctly different from any version we've poured before. Cleaner on the palate, with the spice from the Saaz hops coming through for the first time. Delicious. Name still in the works — come help us land on one.

And next week, watch for our new Mexican-style lager — dry, crisp finish with a bit more punch than you'd expect. More details soon.

1) New Michelada mix made in-house is the new definition of a Michelada! A must try if you are a Michelada fan!

🏃 BOARDROOM RUN CLUB — EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 6 PM

We officially launched the Boardroom Run Club on June 3 and it's been a great start. Every Wednesday at 6 PM — we run, walk, jog, or stroller-push from the taproom to the Strand and back. We thank those of you already participating. Please continue to build the group. Run club merch coming soon and we’d love to hear your ideas.

Runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, dogs — all welcome. First beer's on us when you get back. Come meet your new running buddies.

As the 3 year mark approaches...

Our appreciation for your support continues. We remember when we only had 3 beers on the menu. We opened our doors nonetheless May 2023, we hoped to build something the South Bay could call its own. What we didn't expect was how genuinely you'd show up — week after week, pint after pint. You made Boardroom what it is, and we don't take that lightly.

So on Saturday, May 30th, we're keeping it simple: cold beer, good music, and a few ways to say thank you. Come celebrate with us!

Spring is Here

Hey Boardroom family,

Spring has officially landed at the taproom, and we've got a stacked May lined up for you — two new beer releases, live music, food vendors, a Derby Day fascinator competition, and our 3-year anniversary party at the end of the month. Here's what's coming up:

ON TAP IN MAY

MAY 1 - FRIDAY

Ana's Kitchen + Live Music + Two New Beer Releases

Kick off the month with us. Ana's is back in the kitchen, and we're hosting an open mic style night featuring some of the Iversons and our friend Derek — music from 7–9 PM.

Don't forget our new beers:

• New blonde ale — 4.1% ABV, with crisp notes of oat, bright color, and (simply put) crushable. Built for warm afternoons and longer evenings.

• Pulped Fiction — our new orange wheat ale clocking in at 5.3% ABV. Subtle citrus, smooth wheat body, the kind of beer that makes you want to stick around for another.

SATURDAY, MAY 2

Cinco De Mayo -- Derby Day at Boardroom

Celebrating 5/5 on 5/2 and coincidentally the 152nd anniversary of Kentucky Derby, the BR team has been planning a full day of fun!

• Special 20oz Micheladas all day - featuring Diego's new special mix!
• Fresh fruit stand
• DJ spinning house from 4:30–7:30 PM
• Tamales from 4 PM to close
• Beachside Tacos slinging grub all day

For the Derby - we want you to show up in your derby best! We'll also be hosting a FASCINATOR COMPETITION. Judging happens before the races start, at 2:30 PM. Best hat wins a $100 bar tab.

How it works: show up, check in with staff, grab a glass of wine, and get ready to be a winner. Every entrant gets a complimentary 4oz pour of our new orange wheat ale on us. Bring the hat — the bigger and bolder, the better.

3-Year Anniversary Party 🎉

Three years in. We can't quite believe it. Save the date — we're celebrating with live music, great food, and a lineup of new release beers we've been quietly working on for the occasion. More details to come, but block off your calendar now.

SPRING IS UPON US!

Boy are we excited for March! Warm weather, four new beers and all this great spring energy.

Also we are ready for your MARCH MADNESS watch parties, catch all the games with our tasty pints.

And for our wine lovers, we will be doing a small bottle release at the end of the month so you can share with friends at home!

New Beers for March

We know you've tried some of the new beers in house. This next series is also worth getting excited about!

Arena Street Pale Ale - Currently On Tap - 6.0% ABV
Balanced malt and bright hop character — dry hopped for optimal aroma.

O'Malleys Irish Stout - Release Friday March 13th.
Dark, smooth, and sessionable with roasted barley character, subtle cocoa notes, and a dry finish. A proper pint for St. Patrick’s season.

Beverly Pils - Cellaring
Rebuilt from the ground up - expect excellence, with crisp, balanced, and endlessly drinkable pilsner we are craving.

Attagirl IPA - Fermenting
Bright hop with pine and a clean, assertive bitterness — a throwback to the West Coast IPAs that helped define SoCal craft beer, but remastered to comply with today's modern IPA standards.

St. Patrick’s Celebration — Saturday, March 14

We’ll be tapping our new Stout just in time for St. Patrick’s weekend.

Beachside Taco's will be pushing a special menu with corned beef (https://www.instagram.com/p/DVtcBLKFKZr/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) !

Green attire gets you props, probably a free beer, and a most importantly, happiness.

Boardroom March Madness Bracket Challenge

We’ve created a custom Boardroom Bracket Challenge, and we want you in it.

How to Enter:
• Buy a beer• Fill out a bracket• Join our customer email list
*Brackets are available to fill out after Sunday March 15. Just scan the QR code at the taproom.

**All brackets must be submitted by Wednesday, March 17th 8am.
***The first games start March 17-18.

1st Place – $100 Boardroom tab + swag

3rd Place – $40 Boardroom tab

We’ll also have the bracket and progress in the taproom so everyone can track how their picks are holding up throughout the tournament.

Limited Wine Bottle Release – 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

For those who may not know, or haven't tasted our wine, we’ve been working on a small wine program alongside winemaker Martin Ramirez.

Our 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is ready for you to take home! — and it’s extremely limited.

Only 600 bottles were produced, and we’re limiting purchases to 2 bottles per customer. We will only be releasing 60 bottles in this initial release.

Launch of upcoming 2025 Sauvignon Blanc.

You asked for it and we're delivering! This amazingly crisp, bright crowd favorite is almost here. We'll be serving this in-house starting early April, with bottles available for purchase shortly after!
