Thanks to WNY Aerial Ag for overseeding some alfalfa and turfgrass fields for us. The dry summer during seeding in 2025 left some weaker stands. Great way to get seed on without worrying about ground conditions.

Despite the weather, we can still get some field work done. After manure application, we like to work the nutrients in with “frost” tillage. The freezing and thawing process the rest of winter and spring helps break down the soil clods.

CDL DRIVER WANTED

CY Farms / Batavia Turf has an opportunity for a full-time Class A driver.
Located in Elba, CY Farms is a 7,000 acre diversified crop farm as well as a commercial turfgrass operation.
The job would include operating company owned trucks for harvest and shipping operations for both companies.
Forklift experience is a plus. Home every night with a 10-12 hour workday in peak season. 585-548-2552 or resumes can be sent via messenger. Must be reliable with a positive attitude. $24-$28 an hour
