We are forever grateful for the impact he had on our breeding program and are so blessed to watch his legacy continue through his foals. He was truly a once in a lifetime horse and will be missed by us all.
Itโs with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rap Cat. Rap Cat was bred and owned by Ron and Adrienne Pietrafeso. He was out of one of the toughest, grittiest mares, Miss Deadeye, and by the all-time leading sire, High Brow Cat. From the beginning, we knew he was something special.
Despite losing not only key moments of his 3-year-old year, including the NCHA Futurity, but also most of his 4-year-old year after undergoing surgery for an impacted tooth, Rap Cat didnโt let that stop him. He went on to earn over $52,000 in his career with nearly all of his money earned the hard way at weekend shows.
Rap Cat continued to bless our family long after his show career through his foals. His offspring have earned more than $142,986, and they continue to excel not only in the cutting and cow horse pens, but across a wide variety of disciplines, proving time and time again that he was a true all-around sire.
โLouโ meant the world to our family. He was the turning point in our breeding program, setting a standard of heart, talent, and versatility that continues to guide us today. His legacy will continue to live on through his many foals and his kind and gentle demeanor will be missed by so many.
