This has been one of those weeks. A week of awful happenings that aren’t glamorized when you think of farm life.

Maggie lost both of her silkie chicks, one to a predator and one to drowning (I didn’t realize they had developed their wing feathers and she must have perched on the edge of a bucket). Then tonight, we had to put her sweet bunny Diamond down. She had been dealing with some GI stuff for awhile, and lost body condition in the past couple of months. I’m so proud of my girl for making an impossible decision and doing what was right for her pet.

Diamond was such a good friend for our little girl. Maggie’s first pet that belonged just to her. Rest easy, little Diamond 💔

Harnessing up Teddy for the first time and ground driving him! He did pretty well considering I don’t really know his level of training, and the most training I have is my mini from my teen years and I learning together 😅. I do need to figure out how to extend the girth though. He’s lost 50 lbs but still too large to fasten it around his belly!
