Message from President Thomas Schwartze

Due to the storm damage we would like to reach out and ask for volunteers to come help clean up our campground, roadways, and parks on Saturday, July 18th.
We will have a board meeting starting at 9am and we will close the meeting by 10:30am so we can get started with clean-up.
Please meet us at the pavilion at 10:30am and we will get a game plan together depending on how many people show up.
We would like to thank everyone in advance and say we greatly appreciate any and all help!

Message from Parks Director, Randy Blalock:

Per, Rocky Mount Fire Dept recommendation, if someone shoots off fireworks in the park area, you must have a way to extinguish any fires started from your fireworks. Whether that is by water or extinguisher. Please be respectful to the park and your neighbors and have a safe July 4th weekend.

Update: All camp sites are up and ready to be used. As of today sites 1,2,3,17 and 18 are still available. Thank you to the property owners who volunteered and got them repaired.

From Parks Director Randy Blalock, as of today the park/ campground is reopen. There are 4 campsites that have electric issues that are being addressed 3,13,16 and 17. Please, do not use these yet. We are working to get them repaired. Please understand that the park is still not 100% but we will keep working on it until its back to full use. I also want to address, Tuesday evening I was down working on culvert and somebody was spinning around in the gravel and in the grassy area tearing up the park. I'll find you and I'll do my utmost diligence to take care of your disrespect for other's hard work. Please enjoy the park and take care of it.
