We wanna thank our first set of customers on their pig orders. They were all very well pleased with the process of everything and Nimrod Meats in Iowa falls did a fantastic job on the cuts. We hope to have yall back as returning customers. With that being said if you are wanting a pig butchered we will need to know 4-6 months in advance for Nimrod Meats to do the butchering. We are in the process of deciding which other meat lockers we would like to do business with and when we decide on a couple more we will go and tour the places to assure that our customers are getting high quality processing in a clean and USDA inspected facility. We only want the best for our animals and our customers.

Austyn has been apart of the process since day one with all the animals. Her passion for raising animals is absolutely amazing and she is learning every part of the process. Yesterday she had the privilege of skipping the first part of school to help deliver hogs to the meat locker. Not only did she get to help unload but we were able to get a full tour of Nimrod Meats in Iowa Falls. Austyn was very interested and excited about it all. She was able to see everything start to finish from receiving all the way to packaging. I’d say she is on the correct path of life learning all of these things early on. Also Can’t Forget

Interaction with the animals is a daily routine around here. Kids love all of them and enjoy petting each one. Shiloh is 1 1/2 years old and goes up to these boys like she’s the boss.

Our goal is to raise up our kids with the understanding that our food doesn't "Come From" a store. That it takes hard work and lots of determination.

Daily Feedings
Fence Fixing
Pasture maintenance
Hay Baling
Corn Grinding
Lawn Care
P**p Scooping
Pest Control
Locker Dates
Record Keeping

And these dont include our duties at home.
Not everyday is busy and we can take time to create memories like this one. Kids running a muck with the cows. Chasing, feeding, and petting them.

Ever feel like someone is watching you?

Most of the time the kids are right there beside us doing chores.

Is it some of the best help, No.

Cutest, Absolutely 💯 💖 😍

Red is apart of our 2nd group.
Loves scratches and has a goofy side. 😛

Meet the Pigs

The Female 🐷

She is currently our lone female pig. She was thought to be a male until I actually paid attention. (How dare I just assume) 🤣 She beats up on her brothers, just like any good sister would.

Meet the Pigs

Smalls 🐷

Take a guess as to why his name is Smalls. His spots arent as dark as his brothers, but some candles dont burn as bright. He has a great temperament and loves himself a good (or bad) apple.
