We understand that personal and work schedules vary, so that's why our Food Pantry is open 5 days per week to best serve our neighbors. To be mindful of a typical '9-5', the Pantry is open from 1:00 - 5:45 p.m. on Thursdays! Join us to choose from fresh produce, prepared and frozen foods, eggs/dairy, meats/cheese, and so much more.

🧡 September is Hunger Action Month! 🧡

Hunger affects neighbors in every community, but together, we can make a difference. This month, join the movement to raise awareness and take action against food insecurity.

Check out this fun calendar to get involved in the movement! We'll be posting pics throughout the month highlighting the FB's commitment to fighting hunger in NENC.

Here are a few ways to get involved:
✅ Wear orange on Hunger Action Day
✅ Volunteer at your local food bank
✅ Donate funds or food
✅ Advocate for hunger-relief programs
✅ Share hunger awareness messages on social media

Every action, no matter how small, helps bring us closer to a future where everyone has access to nutritious food.

While the Food Pantry is always closed on Mondays, please be advised that the Food Bank of the Albemarle will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7th in observance of Labor Day.

It's a new week - just a reminder of our hours of operation:
Tuesday: 9:00 - 11:45 a.m.
Wednesday: 1:00 - 3:45 p.m.
Thursday: 1:00 - 5:45 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 - 11:45 a.m.
Saturday: 9:00 - 11:45 a.m.

The Hub is a client-choice pantry, which means you choose which foods you'd like to feed to your family. We do not process income verification or license checks. Come on down!

Heads up, neighbors! If you would like to know more about diabetes, this is the event for you. Join ECU Health Chowan Hospital on Sept. 26th from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for a morning of learning and lunching - presented by the Edenton Lions Club.
