There are many reasons to raise American Highland cattle. But if we have to boil it down to just 5, these are the key benefits that make this breed profitable, productive and a top choice for producers.

Silver is a 4-year-old registered Highland cow, confirmed bred and due this fall. AHCA 63220

She is a structurally correct, moderate-framed cow with depth, spring of rib, and sound feet and legs. Silver is pasture-raised and does well in a herd setting. She enjoys the brushing but is not a halter-broke pet and is best suited for someone looking for a functional, productive Highland cow.

She is currently bred to Mid-lakes Tantor AHCA 66369 (I have a calf from this match on the ground currently)

Silver is only being offered as we evaluate the direction of our breeding program. Having a small herd and my desire to be very hands on with them makes her not a perfect fit here. She is a quality young cow with many productive years ahead of her.

Lowcountry Little Light aka Clementine AHCA 63219
Exposed 4 yr old Highland Cow Clementine is a proven, easy-calving cow with two unassisted calves on the ground — a heifer her first year and a bull calf who was steered. She is a good mother with strong maternal instincts and has maintained a nice high and tight udder.

She has excellent length with a feminine, functional build. Lower in the herd hierarchy but does not suffer because of it and gets along well in a pasture setting.

Clementine is more of a pasture cow than a pet. She allows brushing and take treats from me, comes when called, but is not overly friendly, so she would do best with someone who is comfortable reading cattle behavior

Exposed to Mid-lakes Tantor AHCA 66369 for late fall calving.

Located in Colorado. Message me for additional details
