Elizabeth, Elbert, and Franktown peeps. Please be on the lookout for this pup!
UPDATE: STILL NO SIGN OF LUCY AS OF 5/21/26.
I AM BECOMING CONCERNED THAT EITHER SHE IS STUCK SOMEWHERE ON SOMEONE'S PROPERTY, OR SHE HAS BEEN TAKEN BY SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT LUCY WAS PURCHASED AS AN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL AND HER OWNER DESPERATELY NEEDS HER BACK.
If you are near CR106/CR17/CR13 area in Elizabeth, please check your outbuildings, any old vehicles or anything she might be stuck on. Check in with your neighbors who might not be on Facebook. There is absolutely too much ground to cover for us alone if she's stuck somewhere. She loves our daughter like she was the moon and the sun, I just know if she was able she would be trying to get back to her.
She got out on 5/19 from our farm property (Further Up Farms on Judge Adams Rd/CR106) where she was there training with my husband (without my daughter there, who she was always laser focused on) and got excited by the presence of another dog and slipped through the fence. She was last seen chasing a bird at the top of the ridge by Lonesome Rock at about 9:30 am on Tuesday.
Her name is Lucy, PLEASE CALL US IF YOU SEE HER. She’s a mini Australian Shepherd with a tail. 35lbs. She is a bit shy at first but very sweet.
