News from the desks of Ed and Rocky:

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our beloved farm dog, Sammie.

Sammie has been a constant on the farm for nearly 14 years, and our days will never be quite the same without her slobbery kisses. She spent countless summer days getting loved on by thousands of children and quietly stealing s'mores from our youngest campers.

Two years ago we were advised that she had a cancerous growth and her time with us would be limited.

We knew that one day, we would have to make the decision to say goodbye. We are incredibly lucky to have a veterinarian who we trust completely, and who is also a camp dad. He kindly let us know that our time caring for Sammie had come to an end and we said goodbye about a week ago.

Sammie was laid to rest with our sweet Norman cow so that she will never be alone and will never have to leave her farm.

Rest well, sweet girl.
