The 49th Annual Unicoi County Apple Festival is getting closer, and this year’s festival promises to be an extra-special celebration!

For nearly five decades, the Apple Festival has brought tens of thousands of people to downtown Erwin for a weekend filled with incredible arts and crafts, delicious festival food, live entertainment, family fun and the traditions that have made this event so special for generations.

But 2026 gives us even more reasons to celebrate! This year, we’ll be celebrating the Town of Erwin’s 150th anniversary and joining communities across the country in commemorating America’s 250th birthday. Add in the 49th year of the Unicoi County Apple Festival, and you have one BIG weekend of history, community, tradition and celebration!

And trust us… you’re going to want to be here! Over the next several weeks, we’ll be giving you a sneak peek at everything planned for this year’s festival — from entertainment and special activities to festival favorites and some exciting ways we’ll be celebrating these incredible milestones. There is LOTS more to come!

We are out to the top of Eagles Nest and let me tell you, the view is phenomenal!!! The view of the brisket I mean. Yes indeedy! One more day of the brisket special at the top of Eagles Next with awesome natural beauty all around, and some ridiculously tender and juicy brisket tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos!

Brisket, smoked over the course of 21 hours, all the way to perfection. We have this with our spicy mayo and some sautéed fajita mix. DELICIOUS!!!

Like brisket? Well, we have good news for you. See below 😎

We will be at Big Mikes campground in Newland on Friday from 10AM until 9 PM. Then on Saturday, we will be in Eagles Nest for their 4th of July celebration!

We have a special this weekend. Brisket tacos with our spicy mayo and sautéed onions and peppers. We were told that the brisket was competition worthy! If you like brisket, come on down to Newland and/or Eagles Nest and try this limited time taco! You won’t be disappointed!

HEY ALL WE HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM.

Wanted to make sure that this got out. A few weeks ago we had an email (one that I had not opened or even knew was in my email account) (it was in junk mail) apparently was able to creep in to my calendar and essentially held it for ransom. We discovered the issue and it has since been resolved HOWEVER!!!! If you have booked with us this year. PLEASE reach out to us so we make sure that the infiltration didn’t affect your reservation. It cleared our calendar out. Basically had to erase it and restart from scratch based off my wife’s calendar that she had with events. I CANNOT guarantee that your reservation with us is still in our calendar so please do not overlook this and make sure you message us. I don’t want anyone to be missed. Thank you and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. It happened to one person yesterday sounding want another one to be missed.
