Muddy Roost Mini Farm Hi everyone! We are a new, still in the works mini farm here in Elizabethtown, Ky.

Right now our farm consists of chickens and Nigerian Dwarf goats…always looking to add to our herd though, even is my husband doesn’t agree.

One thing about me, I’m a sucker for wild blackberries…I will pick them all day everyday if I can! The thorns don’t bother me. It’s something I grew up doing with my daddy every summer, and since he’s passed a year and a half ago….i try to do anything that I can to feel close to him. With that being said, I spent my morning picking the most amazing wild blackberries….and made blackberry cobblers tonight!
