Good afternoon, The Spot Hometown Deli and ! We have a big announcement about special hours for next week!

We are going to be adjusting our hours to allow our employees and their families to enjoy the Elizabethtown Fair, as well as to allow you to enjoy all of the that will be there!

We will be open from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday (8/24) to Friday (8/28), and we will have our regular hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday (8/29). Make sure that you go and spend some time enjoying the best Fair in the land!

Good afternoon, The Spot Hometown Deli and ! Check this out... Can you share some photos of your furbabies with the rest of us? Make sure to send your pictures to our at Charlamay's Trinkets and Treasures for a chance to get your pets into Charlamay's Court! Don't forget to tag The Spot in your photo to make sure that we see them too!!! We'll drop a picture of our puppies ⬇️ for you to see!

Starting Thursday we will accepting photos of your pets for the 2027 Pet Calendar! Not only do we want you to submit your photos but we want you to get your family and friends to love your photos! The more love they get the better the chance they have to get to be in the queens court! Each month one pet picture will have a winner and will be printed as a princess, prince or fairy for Charlamay’s court!

Our first thought when asked about opening our home to be a billet family for the Cubs was, “how could we ever manage that?! We have 3 busy boys ourselves?!”
Turns out, it has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences we could have imagined. After three seasons and five players, we’ve gained lifelong friendships and had a front-row seat to watching these young men chase their dreams.
They’ve become more than just players passing through our home — they’ve become part of our family. Our boys have gained role models, brothers, and memories that will stick with them for years to come.
Opening our home felt like a leap at first, but it’s given us so much more in return than we ever expected. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
Grateful for every moment, every player, and every memory made along the way.

Good morning, The Spot Hometown Deli family!

We wanted to pass along a reminder that we will be OPENING LATE today, Monday 8/3/26, due to planned utility pole work right in front of the shop. We will be open at 12:00 Noon today for your lunch and dinner plans!

Here is the and menu for this week. As it is the beginning of the month, we've also posted some new for this month. August's is the Kynleigh Special, a delicious combination of Lebanon Bologna and mustard, and the profits from this sandwich go towards supporting GiGi's Playhouse, Inc..

Good morning, The Spot Hometown Deli and . Unfortunately, we do not have great news to share today about operations... This is longer than we like to post, but it's important info!

Bad news is that we are STILL fighting with Brightspeed and their service, so our phone is still not working. Good news is that we've unleashed the "City Boy" in Ed, and he is deep in the battle with the evil Brightspeed and Ring Coastal, and we hope to have our phone back up soon... Better news is that you can still go to https://thespotdeli.com and order from our website! UPDATE: We have a temporary workaround for the phone, but no one really trusts RingCoastal or Brightspeed + Centurylink complaints and unsatisfied customers, so we'd still encourage you to go to our website to order until this is fixed!

Next piece of bad news is that due to some planned utility work in the area by our friends at PPL Electric Utilities, we will not be open until NOON on Monday, 8/3/26. We will make Ed do a couple of more posts over the weekend to remind you, but we look forward seeing you for lunch and supper on Monday. The good news in that is that Mac & Cheese Monday will be POSTPONED to Mac & Cheese Tuesday!

From the team here at The Spot, we want to pass along a heart-felt THANK YOU for your love and support! Thanks to your support, and your commitment to letting the world know about The Spot, we have been named #1 on the list of BEST DELI in Lancaster County - beating out some delis that have been around longer and are located in larger markets. For the second year in a row, The Spot Hometown Deli has come out on top as the #1 Best Deli in Lancaster County! We make the commitment that we will continue to work towards earning that spot every single day!

We've made the decision that thanks to your feedback, and the demands of our staff, the Bagels & Lox are going to become a permanent part of our menu! When you stop in, make sure to thank Haley and Maybelle for harassing Ed until he agreed to buy the supplies to keep it around!

In addition to our and menus for this week, We will have a staple for Mac & Cheese Monday - you can add some stewed tomatoes to your Mac & Cheese, but it's for today only!
