Over 60 friends from congregation Shaarai Shomayim visited the farm last Thursday. They harvested lettuces, kale, and swiss chard. And they planted a new bed of winter squash. Between Shavuot And Sukkot! We celebrate the harvests that are and are yet to come.
Our pollinator gardens are flourishing! And we finished planting our tomatoes, too. Thanks to the Smokers! And our berries are starting to come in. More to come next week...harvest begins on Thursday!

29 volunteers. 1,720 tomato plants. Thank you Blossom Hill Mennonite Church, Christ UCC church,Etown. And Smoker family. Our summer vegetables are almost all in. Sweet banana peppers, a few lettuces, a few cucumbers, Green beans, peas, and sweet corn remain. All will be done by next weekend! We've seen over 100 volunteers in May!
Making great progress on our new outdoor gathering space. Great place for volunteers to gather; for groups to use; for outdoor education; for farm to table dinners; for dinner church worship; for meetings! We can't wait to open the new Wittel Farm Pavilion.
Our native bees are back!! And the new pavilion is underway.
