The East Coast Championships are a wrap!! We are home safe and sound and I couldn’t be more proud of my boys (and myself)!!
Al Samed RZ (Waheed Al Azhaar RZ x Mistazah) earned a Championship and a Top 5 in his in hand classes. Al Fakhour RZ (Kisra Djamel Sinan x Desired Millicent) earned a Championship and Reserve in his in hand classes. Suracommander+ earned a Reserve and a Top 5 in our dresssge classes.
The 2YOs acted like old pros, so proud of their good minds and willing attitudes. It was amazing to have 2 homebred horses doing so well.
Buddy and I made it back down centerline after a 4 year hiatus, he’s worth his weight in gold and tries his heart out. I also handled a few other horses in hand, was great to help out a friend and earning some Reserves and Top 5s was an added bonus!! It was a busy show, but felt really great to be doing what I love.
It was encouraging to see a number of other Straight Egyptians showing (and winning!!) in the sport horse arena and in other performance disciplines. I’m so glad others are realizing the incredible value of these horses beyond a horse to be shown on the line.
A HUGE thank you to my tribe. You all don’t know how truly grateful I am for your willingness to help make all this happen, from those holding down the farm, my businesses and those helping at the show and cheering us on from afar. Your participation doesn’t go unnoticed 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I can finally share one of our expected foals for 2024 now that we have a heartbeat!! I'm doing something a little outside the box.
As my premium Oldenburg mare, Passion, has reached the advance age of 20, I knew that it was time to secure a replacement for her. What better way to do that then to breed her to another WB stallion that impressed me and has worked well in my breeding program previously.
So I'm happy to announce that Passion is in foal to Finery (Furstenball x Diamond Hit)!!
Finery sired our last WB/Arab foal, Finneas RZ, who was a premium foal and site champion c**t at his inspection, won his Oldenburg class at Devon and went onto win a SHN Reserve Championship with one of the highest dressage scorings at the show. Finneas RZ is now much loved and started under saddle, with a fabulous, easy to train personality.
Passion of course foaled Winston RZ, who also was a premium foal and site champion c**t at his inspection. Winston RZ will be returning to the show ring this fall.
I am hoping for a filly, but in case, in utero inquiries for a c**t option are invited on this pairing.
New photos of Al Fakhour RZ also sired by Kisra Djamel Sinan and out of our mare, Desired Millicent. Desired Millicent has produced one incredible foal after another for us!! 'Forest' is an impressive 2YO stallion, standing at 15H and already well bodied, another one to watch!!

Sam and Buddy will be tagging along too ~ can't wait to see everyone!!
Hoping this girl heals quickly after her surgery next week, she needs to be in the Dixon oval this fall for Dressage at Devon!!

2021 Straight Egyptian Arabian C**t
As I was looking for a photo tonight, I realized that I have thousands of photos that Jennifer MacNeill Photography has taken over the years. It also hit me that it has officially been ten years since I moved into the farm and Roze Arabians really took flight.
To celebrate ten years here at the farm as well as ten years of friendship with Jennifer, I will be sharing some photos throughout the year, many that probably have not been shared before. I have been truly blessed to have Jennifer as part of the 'team', she and I first worked together at our open house and she's been here for every foal and for nearly every milestone since and even more blessed to call her a friend!
Here are a couple of photos from our first photo shoot together at the open house.
Here's to 10 years 🍾 and may there be 10 more 🍾
We are starting to count the days - we are expecting a full sibling (hoping pink!!) to Al Fakhour RZ (Kisra Djamel Sinan x Desired Millicent). ‘Forest’ is now a big 2YO, sweet as pie and perfectly put together!
Winter doldrums - Z out for a stroll on this rainy, cold day.
Snacks in bed? Of course!!
🌟Special Offering🌟
As a small breeder, I can only utilize so many of my own mares each year. As this year's upcoming breeding season is coming up, the stunning Mistazah will be open and as such, I have decided to make her available for an on site breeding lease (off site considered with restrictions). Breed to a stallion of your choice or I'll include a breeding to Waheed Al Azhaar RZ.
Mistazah has produced two exceptional foals, by Waheed Al Azhaar RZ. Jassirah RZ and Al Samed RZ both won their breed classes at Dressage at Devon as a foal. Jassirah RZ has earned two Sport Horse National Top Tens as a 2YO and 3YO in hand and is starting her under saddle training. Al Samed RZ is one of the best moving purebreds I've seen with an incredible shoulder reach and that 'float'!
Mistazah combines best of Imperial’s breeding program, which epitomized beauty and athleticism. Her late sire, MB Mistaz, was a Top 10 Futurity Stallion at US Nationals. He is by the famed, *Ibn Safinaz, who successfully competed and produced successful offspring in performance.
Mistazah’s dam, Imperial Kabisah, is by the equally known, Imperial Al Kamar and out of a Orashan daughter, all well known for producing beautiful horses, very capable of performance.
Mistazah sustained a catastrophic injury as a yearling which has prevented her from being shown, but has not affected her quality of life or ability to produce stunning offspring. Please contact us for more details.
From my stable to yours - sending you warm wishes for a Merry Christmas!!

Embryo Opportunity Available
As we will be focusing our breeding resources on some of our older mares this coming year, I am offering embryo rights to our incredible producing mare, Desired Millicent, for 2023.
Desired Millicent (Desperados Getaway x Menouthis) is a 2007 Straight Egyptian Arabian mare, standing at an honest 15.2H and she is Sweepstakes Nominated. She has been inspected and accepted into the ISR/OldNA Main Mare book and was the highest scoring non-WB mare at her inspection. While her show career has been brief, she was named Champion Mare in Sport Horse in Hand and Champion Halter Mare at the 2016 Mason Dixon Classic, she's also earned Regional titles in Halter.
'Milly' has produced one fantastic foal after another for us. She is the dam of our Straight Egyptian stallion, Waheed Al Azhaar RZ, sired by Amer Azhaar. He is not only a Regional Sport Horse In Hand winner, he has been inspected and has his certified breeding license with ISR/OldNA. His offspring are following in the family's winning tradition, garnering their own accolades in the sport horse divisions.
Her 2018 Oldenburg c**t by Finery earned a premium designation from ISR/OldNA, was named site champion c**t at his inspection, went onto win the Dressage at Devon IBC while at his dam's side, then was named Reserve National Champion Half Arabian Yearling at Sport Horse Nationals. He has recently been started under saddle and his owner raves about his trainability and incredible gaits, we can't wait to see this one hit the show ring again!
Her 2021 Straight Egyptian Arabian c**t by Kisra Djamel Sinan just earned a National Top Ten at this year's Sport Horse Nationals in the Yearling C**t Class. This large c**t is going to be knock out, he's nearing 15H at just over a year old, has a wonderfully sweet personality, is conformationally correct and has big gaits. We love him so much, we're expecting a full sibling in 2023!
Milly was very ill after her last natural foaling, out of an abundance of caution we will only offer embryos. Milly was our first experience with an ET and it went seamlessly, she took on the first breeding and we recovered a great looking embryo that took successfully in the recip mare. Milly should be bred using fresh semen, we have tried frozen in the past without success, she has always easily taken on fresh. Milly is CA positive, the stallion of your choice will need to be tested.
Please contact us for additional details.
Every day is national horse day for us 💗
Stop and think for a minute about the beloved show horse you gush about regularly on social media. Do you know off the top of your head who bred that horse you love so much? If someone asked you at your next show, could you tell them where to go to find another horse bred like yours? Many cannot. But even if you can, do you make an effort to help promote the breeder who brought your beloved horse into this world? If no, why not? Would crediting that breeder take away from your success? Would it take away from your trainers worth? I would contend no. But would it help to elevate a quality breeder and help others to find them when they are looking for a horse? Yes, hugely.
Even if you can’t name them off the top of your head, I can almost guarantee you that somewhere, there is a breeder who still cares about your horse. A breeder who spend hours planning for the perfect breeding cross. A breeder who crossed their fingers in anticipation that the mare would take and be in foal first try. A breeder who watched in anticipation as that mare grew round and heavy in foal, hoping for the perfect foal. A breeder who gave up many nights of good sleep to watch that mare closely to ensure a safe and healthy birth. A breeder who sat beside that mare while she labored to bring your horse into this world and maybe even gave it the extra pull. A breeder who helped to dry off that little miracle and watched in never diminishing awe as they took their first breaths and first steps. A breeder who taught your horse all the basics and instilled a trust in humans from the beginning. A breeder who loved this horse and cared for them from the first breath. A breeder who likely found it hard to say goodbye when the day inevitably came, no matter how good of a home the horse was going to. A breeder who probably still thinks about your horse from time to time and would love to know how they are doing. A breeder who watches from afar while those babies they raised go on to do great things and cheer them on with every success, even if they are no longer within that horses inner circle. A breeder who repeats the cycle each spring and keeps striving to breed the best possible horses, even when they know that they may not get any credit when those horses are out winning someday. Without that breeder, you would not have your horse. Stop and think about that for a second.
There is no horse industry without quality horse breeders. No matter what scale they operate- 2 mares or 20 mares- they are all valuable to the industry and deserve respect and recognition for their efforts. Breeding horses is not for the faint of heart. It is a tireless and often thankless endeavor. It can be as heartbreaking as it is exciting. Some years you bring healthy, beautiful foals into the world and their mothers get to raise them. Other years you may lose a foal or a mare or both and that is something no breeder can get past without a heavy heart. The average horse owner may not think or know of all that goes into breeding a horse while they are enjoying their equine partner. So I am here to shed a little light on the life of a good horse breeder. Most breeders love every horse they raise, do everything in their power to give them the best start possible and do their due diligence to get them into a good situation. I have been raised in this industry and can’t count the number of foals I have seen enter this world on our farm. So many have gone on to do great things and many times I am able to follow that progress and keep in touch with the new owners. That is best case scenario- to be able to stay engaged with a horse you loved from the first breath and know they have gone on to be someone’s beloved partner. Alternatively, many of the horses we’ve bred disappear and we are unable to keep in touch. This is the saddest part because you just don’t know. You hope the horse has a great life but you can’t be sure.
So here is my request: take a moment and figure out who bred your beloved horse. Often, breeders are fairly easy to find thanks to social media. If you can find them, reach and let them know that horse is loved and thank them for their part in the journey. I can guarantee getting a note like that will make almost any horse breeders day and it only costs you a bit of time and effort. I think it would be great for folks to also take it a step further- when your horse is out winning, make a point to give some credit to that breeder on social media or to the people who ask about your horse or admire them. If a breeder is breeding great horses, make sure people know! If people out there are looking for a horse like yours, help them learn where they can find another one just like yours!
To all the breeders out there, big or small, I see you and I commend you. To all the horse owners, I set forth a challenge: when you post about your horse

SHN ‘22 is a wrap for us. Al Fakhour RZ and Jassirah RZ both earned Top Tens in their respective in hand classes with lovely comments from the judges. These two youngsters have incredibly bright futures 🤩
As I sit here unwinding from the weeks & months worth of whirlwind activity that has finally landed us at this year’s Sport Horse Nationals, I have a full heart that I’ve already won, no matter the outcome of the upcoming days of competition. I have incredible fortune to have two lovely, home bred youngsters worthy to be in the ring with a group of stand out sport horses, an amazing testament to what 20 years of focus on sport has done for our breed. I am an amateur owner, I do most of my own training, I run my own farm and I hold down a more than full time job. Some days all you can do is just make it to the end of the day in one piece. Through an amazing support group of friends, trainers, handlers and many, many people I’ve met as a result of this breed, I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to compete with some of the best in the country.
The sport horse classes today have come so far from the cobbled together few that dipped their toe in the dressage ring back when I first started to show. Today, we not only have an exemplary competitors at our own breed shows, but competitors who have excelled well beyond into the open world in all areas of sport. I hope that our breed shows continue to hold the true definition of sport horse in the highest and purest form as we look towards the next 20 years, continuing to bring judges in with experience beyond our rings and that our Sport Horse Nationals continues to be shining example of what the sport horse divisions can do to uplift a breed.
Here are some of my favorite memories from previous Sport Horse Nationals…so many great friends and life long memories!!

I am pleased to share the stunning Mistazah with you. Generously on lease from 5 Wells Arabian Farm, this MB Mistaz daughter out of the gorgeous Imperial Kabisah has an incredible story. She broke her shoulder as a yearling only to then be caught in a collapsed barn during a tornado, suffering catastrophic injuries. She is a survivor with a fierce spirit and to see her thriving is a testament to these lines. Her 2019 filly, Jassirah RZ by Waheed Al Azhaar RZ, shares her bold attitude towards life. She’s in foal again to Waheed Al Azhaar RZ for 2021, in utero inquiries are invited on this sweepstakes nominated foal.
