When we sourced this vintage stove for the shop, we had no idea it was the exact same stove our grandmother, Yoshiko, had in her kitchen back in the day. 🥹

When we discovered this photo of her cooking in her kitchen, it felt like such a full-circle moment. 🤍

It’s little touches like this that make every detail of The Blue Door so special to Stacey and me. So much of what we’ve created has meaning behind it, and finding ways to weave pieces of our family and our story into the space makes it feel even more like ours.
