The best days usually look like this.

I could watch these mamas graze for hours. There’s something about the quiet rhythm of cattle on good grass that never gets old. The stillness, the fresh air, and the privilege of caring for these animals is hard to put into words.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to raise quality beef and play a part in feeding American families. 🇺🇸🌾🐄

Can you spot the keepers? 👀

There are a few key traits we look for in the heifers that could become the future of your herd.

The first thing we pay attention to is disposition. Birth weight has its place, but it doesn’t always predict the kind of cow a heifer will become. As they grow, the differences start to show.

When we’re evaluating replacements, we’re looking beyond color or size. We want females that are structurally sound, move with ease, stay calm, and have the kind of build that will stay productive for years.

Not every good heifer becomes a keeper, and not every keeper stands out at first glance.
