“Big Mike,” as he’s known around here, truly lives up to his name. He’s big, stout, and powerful, but extremely gentle, willing, and easy to be around.

Started as a ranch horse, he has seen miles of country and knows what a full day’s work looks like. Quick footed, willing, and handy he’ll hold a rope tight, work an alley, and stay honest all day long.

Finished on the head side and hauled from the #12 down to the #8 ropings, he fits a wide variety of ropers. He stands quiet in the box, scores well, leaves flat, and has a great face. Plenty of gas left in the tank.

He’s been hauled extensively by an older gentleman and has won consistently everywhere he’s been entered from large jackpots and rodeos down to the small local ropings. Dependable every single run.

He’s also been roped on by beginner ropers and is easy to get along with. Gentle, honest, and user-friendly.

Lux is a special mare that has been in our family for many years, and she has a proven record to back her up. I’ve personally shown her in ranch sorting and ranch cutting, where she has earned consistently. Combined with previous owners, she has lifetime earnings exceeding $37,000 in cutting and ranch sorting.

She is sired by Smart Quick Merada, known for producing athletic, cow-smart horses with speed and responsiveness, and out of Fancy Puddy Cat, adding depth of proven cutting bloodlines and consistency. This is a pedigree built for performance and longevity in the cow horse world.

She is extremely versatile has been hauled to rodeos and ropings just to ride around, and has spent countless hours outside. She is easygoing, yet quick-footed and incredibly fun on a cow.

Nice, handy mare with a big heart and lots of try. Not an NCHA-level cutter, but she’s cowy, athletic, and versatile enough to go a lot of directions. She has a great stop, super soft feel, and continues to improve with time.

Started in cutting with ~she had some inconsistent cutting training and currently back in a program working the flag. Limited live cattle exposure but shows plenty of potential. Could easily continue in cutting, or go on to make a breakaway or heel horse.

Good-minded and people-friendly. No buck. Bathes, ties, loads with no issues. Good for the farrier, dental done November. Gets along well with other horses, can be a little bossy. Doesn’t love spray bottles but tolerates them. Has been ridden outside.

Gritty, trainable mare ready to go on with.
