🌲 Where it all began… 🌲
Long before Pleasant Valley became what it is today, it started as a dream, a lot of hard work, and a family willing to build something from the ground up.
Our family were true pioneers, clearing the land and turning it into a place they could farm and build a future on.

Grandpa Don wanted to work with people, so he decided to start planting trees. In 1983, the very first trees were planted—Norway Pine and White Pine. In 1992, our first choose-and-cut opened out of a garage. And, as determined as our grandparents were, that was only the beginning. Along the way came many different business ventures, but tree farming, property management, and our fall harvest festival were the dreams that stuck—and have continued to grow through the years.

Grandpa Don and Grandma Kathy had 6 children and along came 39 grandkids and many great grandchildren. They worked alongside their three boys, teaching them the value of hard work, perseverance, faith, and family while building their dreams together.

Today, those same values are at the heart of everything we do. What our grandparents started has grown into something far bigger than a business—it has become a family legacy. ❤️

We are so incredibly blessed to carry on the beliefs, traditions, and hard work that started generations ago… and now, we’re watching it continue into a 6th generation. 🌲

From the first trees planted in 1983 to the farm we know and love today, we’re forever grateful for the roots that started it all.
