What a great bbq day out at last Saturday. Perfect Storm debuted (joint forces of Smokin Pit Patriots & Small Town BBQ), and we had a blast. Thank you to all our wonderful helpers and friends that came out to support such a wonderful organization. 16th Rubs, 6th Chicken, 3rd People’s Choice. Congrats to Big Bear on their GC and Notorious P I G for Reserved GC. A great event put on by PittieQ’s Jen and Troy! We closed the night with Diamond Rio - such a treat!

Great fun for a great cause - Saturday, at Bent Brewstillery, all for the Invisible Wounds Project. We were proud of a 7th place Rib, disappointed in a 27th place chicken (the judges weren’t fans of our wings and they let us know - the team enjoyed them😉), and delighted with a third place cocktail “MN Maui.” Thanks to my helpers for the day, and all of you who came out and visited.

It’s one of the best times of year - Fall BBQ season. We are kicking it off at our favorite competition. Join us at Bent Brewstillery this Friday 9/9. Rib tasting starts @1:30. Try a huge assortment of ribs and sides all in support of the Invisible Wounds Project. Come a little early as this event will sell out. We look forward to seeing you there. You can even say hi to the boys at Smokin Pit Patriots. Come witness us kicking their pants on ribs, chicken, sides, and a drink!
