Had a busy weekend brewing. Transferred our dunkelweizen to the oak barrel and made a batch of Hefeweizen!

We came back from a longish hiatus, brewed a batch of dunkelweizen and are going to barrel age it!

We are inching our way slowly, but surely to get all of the bureaucratic aspects of the business finished. However, everything is slow moving with the pandemic still happening.

We are still working on perfecting our recipes and hope we can share them with all of you soon!

We brewed another batch of our Dunkelweizen before the quarantine happened. This beer brings a smoky chocolate bread mouth feel with low bitterness and mild hop aroma.

Hello everyone,

As of today, Andrew Boyd and I have officially registered Das Jägernest Brewing Company, LLC. through the state of Indiana! We are both proud and excited to take this next step together and look forward to bringing all of you delicious German and American style beers as we move forward with this brewery. We will keep everyone informed as we progress towards getting our permits, permanent location and brewing equipment situated and open for business. Thank you for your continued support.

As we navigate the COVID-19 situation tasting and gatherings are difficult to project but rest assured that we are continuing our brewing efforts and have quite a few new and exciting beers ready for you all. The moment we are clear to schedule tastings again we will be putting out some calendar notifications for our amazing new beers. Stay tuned for what's coming.

Good afternoon everyone,

Due to personal reasons, my brother Nate has decided to step down as a partner from Das Jägernest Brewing Co. I wish him nothing but the best. Love you brother.

That being said, I have invited my best friend, Andrew Boyd, to join me as a partner in the business. He’s excited to join in on brewing delicious beers and getting to know our clientel, both old and new.

We are currently planning another tasting to happen within the next few weeks, featuring a Hefeweizen, Dunkelweizen and a Weizenbock.

We will release more information as we figure everything out.

Coffee stout, 5.3% ABV
Honey Kölsch, 5.3% ABV
Double IPA, 8.0% ABV

Hello everyone. We apologize it’s been awhile since we posted. With the holidays and some styles we’ve brewed, it’s taken longer for our beers to be ready.

Yesterday we bottled our coffee stout (front left) and today we bottled our double IPA (front right). Last Sunday we bottled and kegged our new batch of honey Kölsch (back of picture).

We will be able to bottle our Hefeweizen (middle buckets) in a couple weeks!

We are getting ready for our next tasting in February!
