Two ADGA registerable American Nubian bucklings ready for their own herds! The one with moonspots is out of a first freshener yearling doe whose udder is nice and soft, easy to milk. The black buckling is out of a 2F 2 year old doe and I just love her udder! Good production, really fast and easy to milk out. Both out of same sire, Spice. They have been separated from their dams for a week now.

I'm weaning Artemis' buckling tomorrow. Artemis is a nice milker with a good udder and production. This flashy guy is headed to Crockett to be a herd sire.

Lucky's buckling is being weaned and is ready to go! He is ADGA registerable and is a big spotted boy, one of triplets. He'll make a great herdsire. His dam produces over a gallon a milk a day and will do extended lactation for 24 months. He is now enjoying his new home in Kaufman.

Artemis bucked tradition and had her twins in the middle of the night on Saturday (Jan 10)! Luckily, Jason checked on the goats because I skipped the midnight check. Anyway, I checked on these guys every couple of hours to make sure they made it through their first (cold) night. The doeling is brown and the buckling is the colorful one.
