Hey all - my name is Mary Burpee and I'm running for District 6 of the Walworth County Board. So if you live in the Elkhorn area, please consider voting for me. I was a former CNA at Lakeland HCC in the 80s so I totally respect the hard work you do. I understand there are alot of problems/concerns at Lakeland these days and they deserve to be addressed in a timely manner and most importantly by including the very workers who know the issues best. I am not anti- management, but this continued practice of just listening to management by the County Board is a huge mistake. I want to address that plus many other issues. So, even though the election isn't until April, I can use your help. I know you work long hours and your time is very precious to you. But if you can shoot me a check or put $10 or $20 in an envelope, I would be seriously grateful. My address is 609 W. Walworth Street, Elkhorn 53121.

Come on down and visit us at Oktoberfest. The sun is actually out and there's great entertainment and food. And buying a raffle ticket is a very good idea!

Its a great day to be at Oktoberfest in downtown Elkhorn! Come by and see us and buy a raffle ticket to win a 55" flat screen TV, motorized child ATV or $500 worth of groceries at Frank's Piggly Wiggly. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Great food, vendors and music! As always, thanks to our great volunteers!
