Pork chop filled with sausage and sage stuffing with a balsamic glaze, on mixed greens in a lime vinaigrette. roasted rosemary and thyme Red potatoes; and sauteed zephyr squash with peppers and onions finished in chardonnay.

I like my modern day conveniences while also wanting to build a slower, more intentional life.
Gardening has helped give me purpose and allowed me to get closer to nature and the food we eat.
I'm proud of the skills I've learned and so excited for all the things I still need to learn. For thousands of years people have known how to grow food, sew clothing, treat sickness with food and herbs, and it only took 2 generations to erase all those skills and become completely dependent on the system.
I never thought nature could mean so much to me, its the place where all problems disappear, you feel more connected to the earth.
It's the source of unlimited energy and peace, and to recharge the soul.
